ALL ABOUT THE THORNHILL FIGURE SKATING CLUB...

The Thornhill Figure Skating Club has been teaching local children and
adults to skate for over 31 years. Since it's beginnings, more than 10,000
skaters have laced up their skates and learned to skate courtesy of the
Thornhill Figure Skating Club.

Founded in 1975, the Thornhill Figure Skating Club offers a variety of
skating programs, including Canskate, the official learn-to-skate program
designed by Skate Canada, Advanced Figure Skating, both recreational
and competitive, Adult/Teen Learn-to-Skate, and Pre-school. The club has
an enrollment of more than 1,000 members, making it one of the largest
Figure Skating Clubs in Canada. The Club is run by a volunteer
Executive Board and features 16 Professional Coaches.
The Thornhill Figure Skating Club skates out of the Thornhill Community
Centre Arena (Bayview and John St.) and Rosemount Community Centre
arena (Bathurst, S. of Hwy. 407).
